Part: Engine oil

Video tutorial

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil in the KTM 890 Adventure, an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cool enough, then remove the lower protective cover and place a container underneath the motorcycle.

Next, unscrew the bolts of the two drain holes, unscrew them using a 13mm socket wrench and remove both secondary filters, which need to be cleaned. Finally, open the main filter housing, insert the replacement, reassemble everything and pour the new oil through the appropriate hole.

How to Remove the Rear Wheel of the Triumph Tiger 800

To remove the rear wheel of the Triumph Tiger 800, loosen the nuts located in the centre of the wheel that secure the central axle to the end of the swingarm. Once these two nuts are removed, unscrew the bolts that secure the rear brake caliper, detaching it from the disc; you will also need to move the chain from the corresponding sprocket. When all these components have been removed, it will be possible to completely detach the wheel, allowing you to insert a new replacement part, reassembling all previously removed components.
