Let’s discover the main instructions on how to perform the routine maintenance service by changing the engine oil and oil filter on the Kymco AK 550 scooter. First, place the scooter on the centre stand and begin unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; unscrew the oil filter cartridge using the appropriate tool, as shown in the video.

At this point, gently screw in the new oil filter, then top up with new engine oil, and top up again after starting the engine if necessary!
