Today, we will learn how to perform the routine maintenance service by changing the engine oil on the Kymco AK 550 scooter. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then remove and clean the small mesh oil filter, as well as replace the cartridge, as shown in the video.

At this point, unscrew the filler cap and pour in the oil specified in the manual, as well as a 10W40 four-stroke oil.
