How to Bleed the Brake Fluid

In this video, you will see how to bleed the brake fluid. Open the cap of the fluid reservoir above the pump: it is crucial that the level does not drop below the minimum throughout the operation, so top up with fresh fluid immediately if it does.

Insert a spanner into the bleed nipple of the caliper and attach a clear rubber tube that will lead into a container to collect the waste fluid. Pull the brake lever and simultaneously open the bleed nipple: you will see fluid with some air bubbles coming out of the clear tube; close the bleed nipple and then release the lever.

Repeat the process until only fluid comes out of the clear tube, without air. Tighten the bleed nipple, remove the tube, adjust the level in the reservoir, and close it.
