To access the battery, first remove the plastic cover of the footwell at the top by prying it off; this will give you access to the battery compartment. Next, unscrew the bolts of the battery terminals (positive and negative) and remove the old battery by pulling it upwards; simply replace it with the new one of the correct type and reconnect the two terminals. Then, replace the footwell cover and check the operation of the scooter!
