To replace the belt on the Kymco Xciting 400i, loosen the bolts securing the cover near the rear wheel on the left side. Once these bolts are loosened, you can access the underlying components: remove the nuts securing the central pins of the variator and the clutch, taking both out. This will allow you to slide off the belt surrounding them for replacement with a new one; after installing the new components, close everything by securing the cover.
