Replacing the cabin filter is important as it filters pollen, smog, and dust from the air you breathe in the cabin. It is a task within everyone's reach due to its simplicity. Typically, it should be replaced every year or after 15,000 miles. Start by parking in a location that does not disturb anyone and engage the handbrake. Borrow or use a Torx 25 key to unscrew the screws of the panel on the passenger side. One below and three above. Now detach this plastic cover to finally access the filter. Press the clip to remove the cover in front of the filter. Now you can replace it with the new part and reassemble everything.
