This brief video tutorial shows how to fold down the rear seats of a second-generation Volkswagen Tiguan, produced from 2016 to 2025. There are two methods to fold down the backrest of this vehicle. The first method involves pulling the cord located at the side of the seat, at the bottom, and then lowering the backrest. The second method involves pulling the plastic lever located at the side of the seat but at the top of the backrest. Once pulled, you can lower the backrest. Additionally, this last method allows you to slide the seat base forward.
