The failure of the sliding guides of the window regulator mechanism is a common issue in many vehicles, but the repair is equally simple and cost-effective. To carry out the replacement, first remove the door panel, then open the rubber cap and lower the glass until the fixing claws of the glass align with the hole to release it. At this point, proceed to remove the lower panel, which is made of aluminium and to which the window mechanism, the associated motor, and the speaker are attached. Once the lower panel is removed, disconnect the motor, remove the old mechanism, and install the new one by reversing the steps to complete the installation.
