How to Change the Key Battery in a Mahindra Thar

If you notice difficulty opening the doors with the remote key and have to get very close to the vehicle, it’s probably time to change the key battery. To do this, follow the simple instructions below. Take the key and, using your fingers, pry open the cover located on the back of the remote to remove it. Underneath, you will find the battery compartment for a CR 2032 battery, and you can use a sharp object to extract it. Then, take the new battery and place it in the compartment, making sure to position the positive side facing up. Finally, replace the cover and close it, and the job is complete.
