How to Restore Factory Settings on the Mazda CX-9 Infotainment System

To restore factory settings on the infotainment system of a Mazda CX-9 (and generally on new Mazda systems), the procedure is simple. Access the Settings menu. Scroll to the bottom and select System Settings. Continue scrolling down to the option Restore all factory settings. By selecting this option, the system deletes all personal information (contacts, history, preferences, etc.) and resets every setting to the factory default values. This operation is recommended when you want to sell or trade in the car at a dealership, to ensure that no personal data remains stored in the system.
