How do you reset the Service light on the Mercedes E-Class?

The procedure to reset the Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Mercedes E-Class can be done by holding down the HOME button on the left side of the steering wheel: this way it will be possible to access the menu and navigate using the arrow buttons on the left side, until selecting the settings option. Then you will need to choose the "ASSYST PLUS" option and then turn the key to position two: now it will be possible to select the "Full service" option and then "Confirm reset". This will allow the light to turn off and then turn off the instrument panel as well.
