Where is the battery located and how to replace it in a Mercedes R-Class?

The battery of a Mercedes R-Class is located under the front passenger's footwell. To replace it, follow these steps. Start by removing the floor mat of the front passenger's footwell. Once removed, you should see the battery cover. Disconnect the battery terminals, making sure to disconnect the negative (-) terminal first and then the positive (+) terminal, using a wrench or socket wrench. Then remove the battery cover and carefully lift the battery out of its housing. Make sure to keep the battery upright during removal to avoid acid leaks. Install the new battery, making sure to connect the positive (+) terminal first and then the negative (-) terminal. Ensure that the terminals are securely connected and tightened. Finally, replace the battery cover and reposition the floor mat, and you will have completed the replacement.
