How to Replace the Auxiliary Battery of the Mercedes R-Class?

The auxiliary battery of the Mercedes R-Class is located inside the cabin, directly beneath the footwell on the driver's side: you can locate the device by loosening the seat mounting bolts and completely removing the seat. Once the seat is removed, detach the carpet that serves as flooring to access the device underneath: the old battery can be freed from its cables and bolts, allowing you to install the new one. The new battery must then be secured and connected, covering everything with the carpet and reinstalling the seat.
