How to Remove the Battery from a Mercedes R-Class

The battery of a Mercedes R-Class is located in front of the front passenger seat. Start by removing the mat and the seat guide inserts. Then, push the passenger seat as far back and up as possible. Next, unscrew the screws and bolts that secure the battery cover, then remove the cover itself. This will give you access to the exhausted battery. Proceed to disconnect the two terminals. Once you have completed this step, you can extract the battery, and the removal will be finished.
