The following tutorial for replacing the battery of Mercedes vehicle remote controls is valid for all classes. To replace the battery, we first need to remove the top part of the key by pulling the end outward and then remove the emergency metal key stored inside the remote control. Insert the key or a flat-head screwdriver into the opening of the remote control to push the internal button and open the key cover. Remove the battery and insert the new 3 Volt CW2032 battery. Finally, close the cover and insert the emergency metal key inside the remote control to test its functionality.
