How do you replace the emblem on the hood of the Mercedes C-Class?

In order to replace the emblem on the hood of the Mercedes C-Class, you need to open the hood so that you can access its interior: at the emblem location, you will find two screws that secure it from the inside, which need to be loosened in order to completely remove the emblem.
