Instructions for Removing the Car Stereo

Model: Mercedes CL C215 - Years 1999-2006

To remove the car stereo, you need to take off the trim surrounding the centre console.
Pull the gear lever knob upwards to remove it, then unclip and remove the trim around the gear lever.
Next, unscrew the fixing screws of the ashtray and pull it out from its location.
Unscrew the rear fixing screws accessed from the glove compartment under the armrest.
Then unclip the trim along the edges, taking care not to damage it.
Once the trim is removed, you can access the fixing screws of the car stereo to take it out.
