How to Change the Time on the Tachograph

Model: Mercedes Sprinter MK 2, W906 - Years 2006-2018

See how to change the time on the tachograph installed on a commercial vehicle (for example, to switch from daylight saving time to standard time or vice versa). The standard procedure is valid for VDO tachographs or similar. With the vehicle stationary, press "Ok" and select "vehicle entry" using the arrows and confirm with "Ok". Scroll down to "local vehicle time" and press "Ok". Now the time will flash: use the arrows to set the correct time (forward or backward by one hour). Confirm by pressing "Ok" and exit the menu. The internal UTC time cannot be changed; only the display of the local time can be modified.
