How to Reset the Service Light on the Mercedes E-Class

On the Mercedes E-Class W211, the maintenance warning is reset directly from the instrument cluster using the steering wheel controls and the shown sequence. With the vehicle stationary and the engine off, turn the ignition to ON, access the Service/Assyst area on the display, and start the reset of the interval, confirming when the request appears on the screen. When finished, the mileage and time counters are reset, and the warning no longer appears on the main screen. To verify, go back to the service section and check that the new deadline is updated. If the procedure is not accepted, repeat the sequence, following the timing and buttons exactly as indicated in the shown steps.
