How to Set the Analogue Clock on the Mercedes R-Class

Setting the analogue clock on the Mercedes R-Class is not an intuitive procedure, as it is not adjusted by turning the hands, but via the onboard computer. Turn on the ignition and use the controller located on the left side of the steering wheel with the 'ok' symbol in the centre. Navigate until you see the main menu on the central display, between the speedometer and the rev counter. Find the 'vehicle settings' menu and press 'ok' to enter. Within the 'system' menu, search for and select the 'date/time' option. Select 'set time' and use the '+/-' buttons on the controller to adjust the hours, then press 'ok' to confirm; do the same for the minutes. Ensure you select the correct format (12 or 24 h). Once set, exit the menu and the analogue hands will automatically move to the new position.
