How to Replace the Battery in a Mercedes ML W166

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Mercedes ML W166 by following a few simple steps: first, get inside the vehicle, turn off the car, and pull the handbrake. Next, slide the seats all the way forward to access the battery compartment. At this point, remove the battery cover using a flathead screwdriver to take out the fasteners of the cover. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the battery. Use a 10 mm socket to loosen the battery terminal, starting with the negative terminal and then the positive. After disconnecting the battery terminals, unscrew the fasteners of the bracket that secures the battery in place using a 13 mm socket with an extension. Now you can lift the battery out of its housing. Place the new battery in position and reconnect everything in reverse order.
