In this video tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in a Mercedes ML W166 by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to get into the car, turn off the car and pull the handbrake. Next step we have to pull the seats forward completely, to access the battery compartment; at this point we must remove the battery cover by helping us with a flat tip screwdriver to remove the cover fasteners. Once the cover has been removed we have access to the battery, with a 10 socket wrench we must loosen the battery clamp, starting with the negative pole and then the positive one. Once the battery poles have been disconnected, we must unscrew the ixing elements of the bracket that fixes the battery in place, using a 13 socket wrench with extension. We can now remove the battery from its housing by lifting it up. Place the new battery in place and reconnect everything in reverse order.

How do I replace the Land Rover Evoque auxiliary battery?

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox. Once the screws that secure this panel have been loosened, it will be possible to access the components located in its rear part, including the auxiliary battery. The latter must be disconnected from its cables and the fixing screws must be loosened. The battery can then be replaced with a new one and the panel can be fixed again with its screws.
