How to Remove the External Mirror Glass of a Mercedes GLA

To change the mirror on your Mercedes GLA, first remove the mirror by disconnecting the connectors. Now, remove the internal mechanism, secured to the mirror body with very small screws located at the corners of the mechanism itself. This is a delicate job. Take out the mechanism; at this point, you can remove the outer frame of the mirror, which will also bring the damaged glass with it. You can purchase just the shell from one of the major e-commerce platforms for around £13. However, you will need to have it painted to match the colour of your car. The video shows how to repair it, but it certainly depends on the type of damage to your mirror: it was not broken, just cracked, so it could be fixed. Now reposition the mirror in its place, fitting it into its housing, and refit the mechanism, tightening the tiny screws that held it in place. Reconnect the mirror connectors and snap it back into place. Test the electric orientation of the mirrors. The job is complete.

How to change the time on a Toyota Yaris
