Instructions for Disassembling the Glove Box Lock

To disassemble the glove box lock, first ensure you have the keys: only with the original key can you align the tabs that create the lock combination for removal. Start by removing the air vents located in the center of the console to free the lock support. Then, insert the key and turn the lock so that the side hole on the lock collar aligns with the channel underneath, where you will insert a small tool to retract the retaining bar and allow for the lock's extraction.
