The convertible top lock is always managed by the hydraulic system, which secures the closure once the top is lowered; to disassemble the lock, start by disconnecting the power connector, then detach the oil inlet and outlet hoses, and finally remove the lock's mounting nuts to complete the disassembly; once the lock is removed, you can also notice the piston inside, which, activated by the hydraulic system, opens and closes the lock, keeping it secure by safely closing the latch.
