Instructions for Removing Window Switch

Model: Mercedes Sl MK 5, R129 - Years 1989-2001
Part: Power window motor

At the inner bottom of the door, there is a micro switch that controls and stops the window when the glass makes contact with it. To remove it, first remove the door panel (see the related video for disassembly instructions). Once the panel is removed, the wiring for the micro switch is visible along the lower edge of the door, and you can follow it to locate the switch. When you reach the micro switch, simply pull it upward to detach it and complete the removal.
