How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes CLA

Before resetting the Service light, always remember that your vehicle is requesting service for your safety and that of others, so pay attention to it. Then you can reset the light as follows: get in your vehicle and close all four doors. Turn on the ignition. Scroll until you see "Trip Meter" on the display. Press and hold "OK" and "Phone" for about 3 seconds. Now scroll down to "Assyst plus" using the down arrow. Press "OK" to confirm. These are the buttons you will need to use in the next steps. Now it will ask you to turn the key in the ignition. Turn the key without starting the engine. Now it will tell you when the service was due. Press "OK" then in the next menu scroll down to "Full service" and press "OK". Now it will tell you which service is active. Scroll down with the down arrow and press "Confirm service". Now it will ask which oil you used. If you know it, select the correct one; otherwise, select the first one and press "OK" to confirm the service reset. Press "OK" on "confirm". It will say "Full service completed". Now the service light is reset.
