Mercedes C-Class W204 with OM 651 Engine Lacking Power

In this video, we see how the vehicle (a Mercedes C-Class W204 with OM 651 engine) has the issue that, despite the check engine light being off, it does not exceed 2500 RPM, and the 7G-Tronic transmission has jerks, with gears engaging at higher than normal RPMs. A diagnostic tool examination reveals error codes P245414 and P245328, which point directly to the differential pressure sensor of the DPF (also known as the exhaust gas pressure sensor). An analysis of the two codes indicates that the DPF differential pressure sensor has an electrical fault (which could be a broken wire, a corroded connector, or a burnt internal sensor) or is sending physically impossible values. If the sensor is faulty, the ECU cannot measure the clogging of the DPF and activates a protection strategy for the engine to avoid damaging the DPF. In this mode, power is limited, torque is cut, the transmission receives incorrect signals, but the check engine light remains off.
