Replacing the differential oil is not a routine maintenance task, but keeping the gears running with clean oil is always a guarantee to preserve their wear, especially since it is very simple and cost-effective; therefore, position the vehicle on appropriate jack stands, locate the oil drain plug on the differential housing (it is located at the center on the lower rear), and unscrew it after placing a container to catch the oil; to facilitate draining, it is also necessary to unscrew the fill plug located at the upper front of the differential; once the draining is complete, clean and screw back the drain plug and add clean oil through the fill plug using a syringe: the level is reached when the oil begins to overflow.
