How to Reset the Instrument Cluster on a Mercedes E-Class W211

Before resetting the service light on your Mercedes E-Class, make sure you have performed all necessary checks for your safety and others. To reset the light, work with the button on the left side of the instrument cluster, using the "up" and "down" buttons located on the left side of the steering wheel, along with the menu button located just below. You will also use the "+" and "-" buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, next to the phone call symbol. Now, close all four doors and turn on the ignition. Press the button on the left side of the instrument cluster three times: you will enter a submenu related to the service. Now press the "minus" button until you reach the "confirmation" message. Do not press the button on the lower screen, as it will take you to the confirmation screen for "full service." Here, press confirm, and the service is confirmed. Turn off the ignition and then turn it back on to verify that the service is no longer required.
