Resetting the Service Light on a Mercedes Vito

After performing the scheduled service as per the maintenance programme for the Mercedes Vito, you need to reset the light that alerts you to the need for intervention. Sit in the driver's seat and turn on the instrument cluster, wait for two seconds, then press and immediately release the "M" button located to the left of the speedometer, and turn off the ignition. Press and hold the same "M" button and turn on the instrument cluster; after about ten seconds, an audible signal will indicate that the reset has been completed. Turn off the ignition, and upon the next restart, you can verify the correctness of the operation.
