How to Reset the Service on a Mercedes CL Class

Model: Mercedes CL C216, MK 3 - Years 2006-2013

After completing all maintenance tasks as per the service schedule for the Mercedes CL, you need to reset the control system that alerts you with a message on the display in the centre of the instrument panel. Sit in the driver's seat, press the start button once to turn on the instrument cluster, press the "R" button to the right of the cluster, use the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to select the "service B" screen on the display, press and hold the "r" button until a message appears asking you to confirm the operation, release and press again for a few seconds until the reset confirmation appears.
