How to remove the instrument panel from the Mini F56

Model: Mini Mini F55, F54, F57, F56 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Instrument cluster

In this video, we see how to remove the instrument panel from a Mini Cooper F56 version: on the sides of the instrument panel (which is an improper term, as it is a round-shaped instrument), there are two screws at the bottom, one on each side. We start by removing these two screws, then we can slide out the instrument, also disconnecting the electrical connector. We remove the plastic cover and underneath we find the base, which is held in place by three screws: one in the center and two on the sides. Underneath the base is the electronic part, and it is possible to also remove the circuit board by disconnecting two connectors, as shown in the video. On the indicator side, we remove the frame, the transparent plexiglass part, then we bring the hands to the rest position, so we can remove them without damage; we remove the measuring base from the instruments and install the new measuring panel. We put back the hands and realign them. Now we reassemble the entire panel following the reverse process.

How to Change the Engine Oil on a Toyota Prius

How do you change the engine oil on a Toyota Prius? It’s a simple operation if you follow the right steps. Lift the car on a column lift or jack, after removing the cover panel, use a socket wrench to unscrew the bolt from the oil sump, allowing the fluid to drain into a disposal container. Refit the bolt of the oil sump and the oil filter. Lower the car and lift the bonnet, securing it. Finally, top up with the new oil. Measure the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until you reach the ideal measurement.
