Operation: How to remove the timing belt / chain on Mini

Let's see in this video how to remove and replace the timing belt on Mini (chain). We lift the car on a column bridge (if necessary, we disassemble the front wheel with a screwdriver the right stone guard of the wheel). With a fixed wrench we go to loosen the belt tensioner roller and remove the belt from its seat. With a socket wrench we go to unscrew the tightening pin of the belt tensioner roller, remove the water pump as in the video. We assemble the new water pump, the belt tensioner and the belt itself, we tighten everything with the socket wrench. Finally we mount the rivets with attached stone guards and refit the rim with the rubber on the car.

How do you open the fuel filler flap in the Mini Cooper in an emergency?

In the Mini Cooper it may happen that the fuel flap remains temporarily or permanently locked, for example due to the discharge of the battery, its opening is in fact electronically controlled. In this case we can proceed to open it using the appropriate manual emergency command, let's see how to do it in this video.
