To change a wheel on a Mini Cooper, park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the handbrake. Position the jack under the lifting point indicated by the manufacturer and lift the car until the wheel is off the ground.

Loosen the wheel nuts with a cross or socket wrench and remove the faulty wheel. Place the spare wheel onto the hub, hand-tighten the nuts to secure it temporarily.

Lower the jack slowly until the vehicle is fully on the ground. Tighten the wheel nuts in a star pattern to ensure even fastening.

Check that they are tight before putting away the tools and driving off.

Replacing the Gear Knob on the Renault Espace

The following steps will show you how to remove and replace the gear knob of the manual gearbox on the Renault Espace. First, get in the vehicle and start by removing the small upper cover of the knob; to remove it, simply pull the gear knob upwards with force to detach it from the lever, as shown in the video. At this point, remove and replace the gear gaiter if necessary, installing the new one; finally, insert the new gear knob, securing it properly onto the lever (ensure there is no play between the lever and the knob).
