How to reset the TPMS light in a Mini Cooper

To reset the TPMS light in a Mini Cooper, first check that the pressure of all tyres is correct. Insert the key and turn the ignition on without starting the engine. Locate the reset button for the system, situated near the handbrake or at the bottom of the dashboard, marked with the tyre pressure symbol. Hold the button for a few seconds until the light on the instrument panel starts to flash or a confirmation message appears. Start the engine and drive the car for a few minutes. During driving, the system will memorise the new pressure values. If the pressures are correct, the light will automatically turn off at the end of the learning procedure.
