Replacing the O2 Pressure Sensor

Model: Mini Mini R56, R55, R57 - Years 2007-2014
Part: Engine

Gather the appropriate spanner to remove the sensor. Open your engine bay, and near the engine head, you will find two connectors close together. The first sensor is black, and the second is blue; we need to replace the blue one. Locate the sensor and gently disconnect the connector, then start to slide it out from the clips holding it in place. Now, reach the sensor closure and, using the appropriate spanner, begin to unscrew it counter-clockwise. After removing it, replace it with the new one. Reverse the procedure to reassemble everything, and your work is complete.

If the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 is not working, it is likely necessary to reset the system: to do this, open the driver's door and detach the side panel of the dashboard next to the steering wheel.
