Engine Cleaning Instructions

Cleaning the engine is not a real technical necessity but rather serves to complete the care of the car and perhaps avoid getting your hands too dirty when checking levels, for example. This operation should be performed with the engine cold to avoid excessive thermal shock. Wet the engine with low-pressure water (the use of a pressure washer is not recommended as excessive pressure could force water into unwanted areas, such as the ECU or fuse box); then spray with a suitable cleaner, let it sit for a few minutes, and rinse; if necessary, repeat the operation.
