Cleaning the MAF sensor on a Mini Cooper R56

If the Mini Cooper S shows irregular power delivery, try cleaning the MAF sensor, which may be the cause of the malfunction. Open the bonnet of the engine compartment, locate the sensor mounted on the pipe in front of the air filter housing, disconnect its connector, and using a Torx key, unscrew the two screws that secure it to the flange.

Loosen the clamp with a screwdriver and remove the inlet pipe, allowing you to take out the sensor and clean it with a suitable spray. Wait for the product to dry and refit the MAF by reversing the operations.
