Video tutorial

Cleaning the mass air flow sensor, also known as the MAF sensor, on a Toyota Yaris is not a frequent task, but if necessary, it is good to know how to do it because the cost at a garage would be no less than £20, while doing it yourself requires only a cleaning spray costing about £10 that lasts for years.

The MAF sensor is located in the engine bay, right at the entrance of the air filter: remove it by pulling it out after disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the two screws.

After cleaning it with the appropriate cleaner, allow it to dry for a few minutes before refitting it.

How to Replace the Cabin Filter on the Ford Puma

To replace the cabin filter on the Ford Puma, detach the small cover located on the left side of the front passenger footwell: once this is removed, loosen the underlying screw so that you can detach the corresponding panel. At this point, locate the filter box underneath, which can be opened to remove the filter inside. The new filter can then be inserted, covering everything with the box and refitting the corresponding panel into its housing.
