How to change the air filter in a Toyota Yaris

Replacing the air filter in the Toyota Yaris 3 is a simple task that can be done independently with a few tools. To start, open the bonnet and locate the air filter box, usually positioned at the top of the engine and connected to a large black hose. Unclip the metal clips or unscrew the screws that hold the cover of the box closed. Carefully lift the cover and remove the old air filter. Before inserting the new one, check that there is no dust or debris inside, and if necessary, clean with a dry cloth. Insert the new filter in the correct orientation, close the cover, and reattach the clips or screws. Close the bonnet, and the operation is complete.
