Cleaning the MAF Sensor of the Toyota Yaris XP10

To clean the MAF sensor of the Toyota Yaris, open the bonnet, unclip the metal clips of the air filter cover, and remove it. Using a socket wrench with an extension, unscrew the three bolts securing the filter box to the engine. Disconnect the breather hoses and the connector on the right side, as well as the sensor connector on the left side, then remove the box and place it on a work surface.

Using a star screwdriver, unscrew the two screws that secure the sensor, pull it out, and clean it using a specific spray cleaner. Allow it to dry, then refit the sensor in its place, position the box back, restore the connections, and close the cover.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
