To replace the radio in the Mini One, use a tool as a lever to detach the plastics and trims located at the front of the dashboard. Once these are loosened, unscrew the screws that secure the panels at the sides of the two footwell compartments so that the panel covering the front of the climate control and radio can be removed. By detaching this panel, you can unscrew the bolts securing the radio, pull it out of its housing, and disconnect the connectors at the back. After removal, insert the new radio and reassemble all the other components.
