How to Replace the Timing Chain on the Mini R50

To replace the timing chain on the Mini R50, you need to completely disassemble the front right wheel by unscrewing the bolts and removing it from the corresponding hub. Next, you can remove the wheel arch and front bumper by unscrewing all the screws that secure these components: this will make the timing chain cover visible and it can be removed by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place. Once the cover is detached, you can remove the chain tensioner, reducing the tension and completely disconnecting the old chain from the sprockets.
