To complete the replacement of the battery located inside the key of your 2013 Mini Cooper, simply follow these steps. First, ensure you have purchased a new, compatible battery, then obtain a flathead screwdriver. At this point, remove the physical emergency key from the cover and disassemble the cover using the flathead screwdriver. Once done, locate the exhausted battery and replace it with the new one. Finally, reassemble the rear cover and insert the emergency key back inside.
