How to Replace the Rear Shock Absorber on the Mitsubishi Colt?

To replace the rear shock absorber on the Mitsubishi Colt, loosen the bolts securing the corresponding wheel while keeping the car stable with a jack. Once the wheel is removed, unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber at the bottom, near the driveshaft. After this bolt is removed, unscrew the one at the top, which can be accessed by opening the boot and removing the plastic panel in the boot area. Once this bolt is also loosened, remove the old shock absorber and replace it with a new one.
