The disassembly of the Moto Guzzi V40 engine can be done by loosening the screws that fix the block to its housing located in the center of the frame: once this has been released, it will be possible to disconnect the connectors of the appropriate sensors and also to remove the intake and exhaust manifolds. Once the engine block has been released, it will be possible to remove the cylinder head and the pistons located inside the cylinders: the connecting rods can then be detached from the crankshaft to access all the other components inside.
