Let's see how to start a Nissan Titan when the vehicle does not recognize the key fob, displaying the message "key not detected" or "incorrect key ID." Get into the vehicle and close the doors, turn on the ignition, and place the key fob directly on the start button for about 5 to 10 seconds. The start button will begin to flash or light up a different color than normal; while keeping the key fob on the button, press the start button. The engine will start normally. Do not turn off the engine until you have replaced the key fob battery, otherwise, you will need to repeat the procedure.
