Replacing the mirror on a Nissan Qashqai

If the mirror glass is shattered, cover it with black packing tape to keep it intact during removal. Removing it is simple: just insert your fingers into the gap between the shell and the mirror and gently pull on both sides. Take your time with this step, and the mirror will come out undamaged. Once removed, disconnect the wires. When installing the new mirror, connect the rear wires first, then push it into place, ensuring the clips fit into the shell.
