When your Nissan Qashqai indicates a service is due, remember this is a safety reminder for you and others. Therefore, ensure you change the oil and filters. After completing this, you can reset the service light. If the standard procedure does not work, follow this alternative method: get in the vehicle and close all four doors, turn on the ignition, and using the dial on the right next to the speedometer, rotate it until you reach "maintenance". Confirm by pressing. You will then be on the service menu. Press and hold "service". Confirm by pressing again, go back, and it's done. Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to verify. The light should be off.
